BC164  A large cup shaped  iron tsuba with pine tree motif.

This tsuba seems to have Higo influence and has a design of a pine tree possibly acid etched into the tsuba. The design carries over to the back side. There are two holes at the bottem of the tsuba for a leather cord forming  a loop to go around the wrist while in battle to insure a better grip. The tsuba is a very dense iron that rings. Probably Genroku era 1688-1704. The tsuba has a very slight concave shape.
